A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to the deadly altercation in Melrose one week ago.
The Barbados Police Services’ (TBPS) Criminal Investigation Department, North Division, has arrested and formally charged Talannie Alexander Harris of Melrose, St Thomas, for the following offence which was committed on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, whilst at Melrose, St Thomas:
Murder – of Renario Taylor
Taylor was 23 years old. He was rushed to the nearby Eunice Gibson Polyclinic in Warrens, St Michael, with stab wounds, and subsequently passed away.
The deceased and the accused are relatives.
Harris is due to appear in the District ‘D’ Magistrate’s Court today, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 before Magistrate Deborah Beckles.
