It was around 2 a.m. on May 10, 2021, when Anthony Seale was awakened by vibrations coming from his cellphone.
He looked at the device and saw a light being spotted towards his home and approaching his front door. He got off the chair where he was sleeping a few feet away from the door and peeped outside.
As soon as he did so, a key was pushed into the door and it opened simultaneously. The light was in his eyes and he could hardly see, but the next thing he felt was “a lash in my head”.
That was part of Seale’s testimony in Supreme Court No. 3A yesterday in the trial of two cousins accused of committing aggravated burglary. (SD)
