He did not tell police that he saw Chad Griffith shoot Pallu Arthur, witness Lamar Alleyne testified on the second day of Griffith’s murder trial in the No. 3 Supreme Court.

He was responding to questions from defence counsel Ajamu Boardi during cross-examination yesterday.

In his evidence-in-chief which started on Monday, Alleyne said he was at Ras Shop in Bush Hall Yard Gap, Bush Hall, St Michael, on November 18, 2022, relaxing on his off day, with his father’s car parked by the house adjacent to the shop.

He said he knew Arthur only after the fatal shooting incident that day, and also at the spot were Lamar “Macka” Sandiford, shop owner Shai Griffith, Rico Sandiford, Sandiford’s children’s mother and the children along with Chad Griffith, whom he knew from the environs of Bush Hall for about ten years.
