  • US President Donald Trump will meet leaders of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda in Washington to sign new deals aimed at stabilising a war-scarred region and attracting Western mining investment.
  • The New York Times has filed a lawsuit challenging the Pentagon’s new restrictive media policy, calling it unconstitutional and seeking a court order blocking its implementation.
