As the electrifying celebrations of Mas Domnik come to an end, the collaborative hit RAGS has taken centre stage, claiming the coveted Bouyon Road March 2025 title.

This dynamic track, a fusion of talent between Dominicans Gael Trilla G Jno Baptiste, Sheldon Shelly Alfred and St Vincent’s Gamal Skinny Fabulous Doyle, has captured the hearts of revellers, winning by popular vote and solidifying Bouyon’s reign as the defining sound of Carnival.

Crafted by the lyrical genius of Trilla G, Shelly, and Christon DJ Oberr Jno Baptiste, and brought to life by the production prowess of A Plus Musik at Th3rd House Studios in St Thomas, United States Virgin Island, RAGS is a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity. The track’s infectious energy is inspired by the melody of Never Enough from the acclaimed movie musical The Greatest Showman.

With its irresistible rhythm and universal appeal, RAGS has not only dominated the Road March competition but has also become an anthem of celebration, embodying the energy and passion of Mas Domnik 2025. This victory is a testament to the talent, creativity and unity that define the Caribbean music scene.

Skinny Fabulous said he was grateful: “I am absolutely thrilled and deeply honoured to announce my victory in the Road March competition in Dominica This win is not just a personal achievement but a celebration of the vibrant culture and shared energy that connects our islands. Dominica and St Vincent may be small in size, but our spirit, resilience, and passion for music are boundless. Being part of this project has been an incredible experience, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Dominica’s Carnival celebrations. Winning the Road March is a testament to the power of music to unite us, and I am humbled by the overwhelming support and love I’ve received from the people of Dominica.

“This victory is a reminder that no matter where we come from, our Caribbean identity ties us together. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who embraced my music,  and made this moment possible. To my fans, supporters, and the entire Dominica Carnival community – this win is for you!

“I look forward to continuing to share my music, energy, and love for our culture with the world. Let’s keep celebrating our small-island vibes and the big dreams that bring us together.”
