A police constable and a teenager have been charged with rape.
Edmond Winfield Barrow, 58, of Sunjet Drive, Lowlands, Christ Church and Cristiano Ronaldo Jackman, 17, of Water Street, Christ Church are alleged to have committed the act on January 8 this year.
Barrow and Jackman appeared before Magistrate Douglas Fredericks in the District “F” Magistrates’ Court today and were not required to plead to the indictable charge.
They were remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) until April 23. (AC)
