A section of the ABC Highway near the Wildey Triangle will be closed at night for approximately two weeks as part of ongoing road maintenance works.
The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) has advised that starting Monday, March 24, 2025, the affected stretch along the Errol Barrow section of the highway will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily to facilitate milling and paving works being carried out by C.O. Williams Construction under the MTW’s Highway Maintenance Programme.
Work will begin between the Sol and Rubis gas stations in the area and will be conducted in sections to minimise disruption.
Motorists travelling eastbound are advised to detour via Pine Plantation Road onto Pine East-West Boulevard before rejoining the ABC Highway. Northbound traffic will be diverted left at the Sir Garfield Sobers Roundabout.
Road users are urged to use alternative routes where possible and to follow all signage and instructions from flag personnel on site.
MTW and C.O. Williams Construction have extended thanks to residents, road users, and nearby businesses for their patience and cooperation during the period of work.
