The hunt is on for the perfect suit jackets, fragrances, shoes and accessories for Old Year’s Night.
In Bridgetown, shoppers were in search for the best looks to ring in the New Year. Such was the case in The Men’s Room in City Centre. General manager Rodney Alleyne said customers were not looking for full suits.
“People are now more opting for shirts, pants or jackets alone rather than the full suit. Black is also in demand as there is this event called Cé Noir which is an all-black affair so definitely black is the colour of choice,” he said.
Alleyne said sales had taken a dip in comparison to years gone by, partially due to the rise of online shopping. Still, he said sales were not “terrible”.
