Cave Hill took firm control of Group F with a dramatic 2-1 win over United Stars Alliance on Wednesday night, securing their second consecutive victory in the inaugural semi-professional Prime Minister’s Cup Football Tournament.

The match, played at Bridgefield, St Thomas, saw Division Two team Cave Hill stage a thrilling comeback after falling behind early to the Division Three Alliance.

Alliance Captain Zachary Browne gave his team the perfect start, finding the back of the net in just the fourth minute. Both sides looked evenly matched during an intense first half, trading shots with assertive offensive plays.

Cave Hill, donning their blue uniforms, pressured the Alliance defence, launching aerial balls that tested Alliance backline. (ML)
