A 19-year-old St Michael man has been charged in connection with a series of criminal deception offences that reportedly netted nearly $33 000.
Raquan Ricardo Clarke, of #38 6th Avenue North, Wildey, St Michael, was arrested by police and formally charged with multiple counts of criminal deception across several policing districts.
In the Central district, Clarke is accused of eight counts of criminal deception against Peter Carter between May 11 and September 18, 2025; sixteen counts against Joseph Atherley between July 1 and October 29, 2025; one count involving Gracelyn Wiles on July 11, 2025; and two counts involving Anne-Marie Persid between October 4 and 5, 2025.
He also faces two counts of criminal deception involving Janet Mullin between July 7 and 8, 2025, in the Hastings/Worthing area.
In District ‘A’, Clarke is charged with three counts involving Jarvis Perry between September 22 and 24, 2025, and one count involving Katrina Bend on October 7, 2025.
Police estimate the total value involved in the alleged offences at $32,979.
Clarke is scheduled to appear in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court today.
