Inside two days of cricket, Barbados Pride were resoundingly beaten by an innings and 56 runs by Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in their four-day regional match at Kensington Oval today.
Having been bowled out for a meagre 86 runs in the first innings yesterday, the hosts were bundled out this evening for 121 runs, with Roston Chase top-scoring with 41.
In reply, T&T Red Force scored 263 all out just after lunch, propelled by Amir Jangoo’s third first-class half-century.
All-rounder Jason Holder gave a timely reminder of his abilities with the ball with his 12th FC five-wicket haul, taking 5-52.
Matthew Forde and Kemar Roach ended with figures of 3-53 and 2-54 respectively.
For the visitors, seamers Anderson Philip and Joshua James took six wickets apiece in the match, while the leader of the attack, Jayden Seales, got four wickets, including West Indies Test captain Kraigg Brathwaite in both innings. (JC)
