Defending champion Tyrease Holder was close to brutal in destroying Darius Brathwaite 21-7, 21-9 when the second
edition of The Hope For The Ghetto Road Tennis Tournament continued on Tuesday night with six thrillers at Belfield.
After being easily beaten in the first game, Brathwaite offered the excited spectators ringing the court hope of a real fight when he led 9-6 in the second game.
However, six-footer Holder, who is sponsored by KKM Metal Prefabrication, showed his immense superiority in utilising his long reach and solid backhand and forehand smashes to unbelievably score 15 unanswered points to give his opponent two New Year’s pigs. (KB)
