It was all about oil for Shaquon Akeem Allman, who assaulted his aunt after he could not get it to fry some chips.
Allman, 23, of Chapman Village, St Thomas, appeared in the District “D” Magistrates’ Court at Cane Garden, St Thomas, yesterday where he pleaded guilty to unlawfully assaulting Daphne Cox on December 22.
Magistrate Deborah Beckles placed the vendor on a 12-month bond. If he breaches it, he will have to pay $500 forthwith or face 90 days in prison.
Prosecutor Station Sergeant St Clair Phillips told the court that Allman lives with his aunt as although his mother lives next door, he has been forbidden from going there. (SD)
