Four schools in St George are now closed as a result of a large fire in the environs of St Philip.
The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has announced the closure of St George Secondary, St George Primary, Ellerton Primary and Workman’s Primary due to smoke emanating from the fire.
Classes at these institutions are expected to resume on Monday, March 20, following assessments by environmental health officials.
