
The financial lifeline that was established two years ago to assist micro and small businesses is receiving additional funding from another government agency.Gerry Amos, Manager of the Barbados Trust Fund Ltd., said that entity is in line for a $4 million top up from its counterpart, FundAccss.In a brief update on Wednesday, Amos told Barbados TODAY that $2.5 million has already been transferred, adding that it was being moved from the Wage Subsidy Fund of FundAccess, which was set up this year as part of Government’s assistance for the small business sector affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
