Police investigate baby’s death


Police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of an infant male that occurred  at 5:03 p.m. yesterday.

He is three-month-old Neymar Jules, the son of Mishika Jules, 28, and Andre Skeete, 34, of Boscobelle, St Peter.

According to police, Jules took her son to the Day-care and Pre-school where he is registered and left him in the care of staff there. During a routine check of the infant in the afternoon, the child appeared unresponsive. The child was then transported to the Sandy Crest Medical Centre for treatment and was subsequently pronounced dead.

Lawmen are asking anyone with information that can assist investigations to call the Holetown Police Station at 419–1700 or 419-1701, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or the nearest police station.
