Two injured in bottle-throwing incident in River Terminal


Two people were injured in a bottle-throwing incident at the New River Terminal around 5 p.m.

Seventeen-year-old Tiana Gittens of Jackmans, St Michael was struck in the face with a bottle while Stephon Chandler received a laceration to the side of his head and an abrasion to his right knee.

Both victims were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital via ambulance.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to contact Central Police Station at 430-7168 or 211.
