Teen charged with New Orleans, St Michael shooting


Police have arrested and charged an 18-year-old male in connection with the shooting incident that occurred at New Orleans, St Michael, between September 23 and 24.

He is Mahindra Alexander Thomas, of Redman Road, Deacons, St Michael.

The accused has been charged with unlawful use of a firearm, use of a firearm without a valid licence and three counts of criminal damage.

Thomas is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court today, September 29, even as police investigations continue into the incident that left one person injured.
