West Indies defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the second Twenty20 International of the five-match series at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad, Friday night.


SOUTH AFRICA: 101 for eight off 20 overs (Dane van Niekerk 36, Mignon du Preez 27, Chloe Tryon 21; Anisa Mohammed 5-24, Hayley Matthews 2-16).

WEST INDIES: 102 for one off 15.3 overs (Natasha McLean 42 not out, Stafanie Taylor 35 not out).
