News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 24, 2018: While many are focused on Jamaican Olympian, Usain Bolt’s, training commencement with football club, Central Coast Mariners, the team is already teasing that he could soon in in action.

This week, the Mariners said that Bolt “could be unleashed on Friday, August 31 against some of the Coast’s best players.” Tickets were being sold from $10 per pop for the Friday night game at Central Coast Stadium, NSW from 7:30 p.m.

Bolt, who turned 32 earlier this week, is currently seeking to forge a successful football career at the A-League outfit.

He trained with the club for the first time in Australia on Tuesday, after signing on for an “indefinite trial” at Mariners. Afterwards, he said that the new career was something he wants and is serious about.

“This is not a joke thing,” the Olympian said. “It’s just like track and field – the first day of training’s always the roughest one – but it felt okay. I’m not setting myself any targets. I’m just going to put in the required work.”

Bolt added that while he does not know what to expect, he is there to push himself and learn as much as possible.

“For me it’s a blank slate,” he added. “I’m here to learn and get better, that is definitely my focus. As long as you get fit in football, it’s relatively easy. That’s how I look at it. I don’t know yet.”

Meanwhile, the charismatic eight-time medal winner says he does not “want to be treated as the world’s fastest man.”

“That’s history,” he said. “Now, I want to be treated as a footballer because that is what I want, and (am) seeking, to be. People will say a lot of negative things about me and my new ambition, but I’ll prove them wrong. I will.”
