One man is dead and two others were injured in a shooting incident that occurred at Hope Road, St Lucy, around 7:10p.m.
Police spokesman Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said the deceased died on the spot.
The other two men – one was injured in his lower spine and right shoulder while the other received an injury to his left foot.
As investigations continue into this incident, lawmen are appealing to anyone with information to contact the Crab Hill Police station at 310 7700; the Criminal Investigations Department at 430-7189; Police Emergency at 211; or any police station.
