
The Barbados team for the 44th international WorldSkills Competition has departed the island for Abu Dhabi ahead of the October 15 to 18 event.
The team comprises Takiya Jordan, Roshida Griffith, Tinisha Hall and Akeil Craig-Browne, who will represent the island in hairdressing, fashion technology, cooking and automobile technology respectively.
They are accompanied by officials from the TVET Council.
