‘Wanted’ man remanded

The 29-year-old, who was on a police “wanted” list for over a month, will spend the next 18 days in prison after being remanded to HMP Dodds until January 11, 2016.

Allder, of no fixed place of abode, was charged with 16 counts of robbery; two counts of theft; and one count of assault with intent to rob, when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today.

The alleged offences took place between November 22 and December 19, 2015.

He pleaded guilty to five of the robberies.

Wearing a red checkered shirt and green pants, an unshaven Allder stood in the dock and quietly pleaded guilty to robbing Michelle Clarke of items valued $850.97, robbing Karen Grumble of items valued $399, robbing Carrie Goodman of items valued $1696, robbing Santo Cassandra Castro of $492.05 and robbing Dawne Holder of $158.

The other offences were committed in the District ‘B’ jurisdiction.

He will answer those charges in District ‘B’ on January 11, while he will return to District ‘A’ for sentencing on January 20.
