Syria: 9 Lebanese Captives Are Freed


Nine Shiite pilgrims from Lebanon kidnapped in Syria more than a year ago were freed on Friday as part of a negotiated hostage release that could lead to the release of two Turkish pilots held in Lebanon, officials said.
