Countdown Begins To Puerto Rico Salsa Congress


News Americas, SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Thurs. July 7, 2011: The countdown has begun to the 15th annual Puerto Rico Salsa Congress.

The event is set for July 16-30 at different venues in San Juan and nearby Caguas and is set to feature dancing couples from more than 20 countries.

This year’s Puerto Rico Salsa Congress is dedicated to music legend Roberto Roena.

Brazilians Carine Morais and Rafael Barros, winners of the 2010 World Salsa Open, are looking to defend their title.
