Parolee Ordered Held For Killing Jamaican Jew

CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 27, 2010: A 34-year-old ex-con was yesterday denied bail and ordered held in the alleged murder of a Jamaican Jew.
Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge George Grasso denied Eion Klass` request for bail during his arraignment on murder charges yesterday. Klass is accused of killing beloved Brooklyn liquor store clerk Yoseph Robinson during a robbery.

Police say he confessed that he pumped two bullets into Robinson – a clerk whom he befriended in recent weeks at MB Vineyards liquor store in Midwood.

Wearing a mask and hooded sweatshirt, Klass burst into the store last Thursday and shot the Jamaican immigrant as the clerk tried to wrestle away his revolver.

Robinson had turned his back on a budding hip hop career to convert to Judaism.

Robinson, also 34, was set to be laid to rest in his native Jamaica yesterday.
Klass had served 11 years in jail for attempted murder and robbery  and now has been charged with murder as well as criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
