Puerto Rico Gets Really Tough On Drunk Driving


CaribWorldNews, SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Weds. Dec. 23, 2009: One of the US` toughest legal limits for drunk driving by young adults this week became law in Puerto Rico.

Gov. Luis Fortuno on Tuesday signed legislation  in to law that now lowers the blood alcohol limit for drivers ages 18 to 20 to .02 percent from the standard .08 percent.

The standard is now lower than any U.S. state.
